The 650B tire size was originally invented by the French, and it is only logical that Hutchinson, a leading developer in this "new" MTB segment, has introduced five different tires in the 25.5"/650B category, with more models to come. Hutchinson's Toro tire, one of the best-performing all-around tires on the market, is now available in the 27.5" size.

According to Single-track Magazine, the Toro is a "highly capable, highly predictable, workable, fun, and nippy tire for going out with every day." The tire's square-shaped knobs provide excellent traction and grip, and this technology is wrapped in Hutchinson's HARDSKIN casing, which features a tough textile layer to help prevent side cuts and abrasions.
